a lot of time and energy on teaching design and still adopt traditional teachingmethods.As a result,in actual teaching,many teachers do not make effective lessonpreparation based on students situation and teaching content before class and teacherspay too much attention to language knowledge and lack of exploring the function ofEnglish education.In addition,the primary position of students in the classroom is notfully reflected.Finally,in terms of teaching evaluation,there are still some teacherswho only evaluate students’performance through summative evaluation such as testpaper.In the evaluation of the unit integrity teaching based on big ideas,there aresome teacher think that it is not suitable for the actual situation in our country.Inorder to better cope with the exam,teachers pay more attention to students’mastery of knowledge itself,often carry out targeted and fragmented teaching,ignoring the bigideas of this unit,and students’understanding of knowledge stays on the surface andcannot be well reflected in life.
